Differential Records welcomes Vonneumann to their roster. Their album il de' metallo is available for order at the Differential Records store, and their new album, il de' blues will be available for pre-order sometime in November.

Our amazing Norwegian friends, The Samuel Jackson Five, will be performing at Swingfest in Germany this month.

Summer!!!

Our friends at Mylene Sheath will release a new, self-titled Gifts From Enola album this month. Gifts From Enola will also leave their comfy college life for a month on the road in a veggie-oil-powered bus. Sounds like a recipe for success, right?

Sound Mass

Theta Naught crossed paths with friends My Education while they were touring to promote their amazing new soundtrack album Sunrise.
Both bands got together in the studio for a first-time meeting and improvisational collaborative recording session. And both bands did another combined impromptu session later that night at a performance at Kilby Court.
Differential Records hopes to release selections from the studio and kilby sessions on a Harmonic Motion-series album next year.

Long Time Coming

A new Theta Naught album has been in the works for some time now, as they keep telling us.
Theta Naught and associates are making some good progress on the record. All the material has been recorded, and is now in the mixing phase.

South By Southwest

How exactly does one get to Austin, TX on a SSW trajectory?
Apparently you need to start in New England...or something.
Our wonderful friends, Gifts From Enola, among many others, will be performing at the world-famous SXSW festival this month.

Holidays

Differential Records is working to release a holiday album this year...you know, around the holidays.
This is in addition to upcoming releases by UpCDownC, Theta Naught, and I Hear Sirens.

Heaps of Good and Bad

We're still working on an agreement with UpCDownC for the release of their next album, Firewolf.
Contrary to everyone's hopes and dreams we didn't sell the label to Universal (See: April Fool's Day).
Furthermore, we will not be releasing nor distributing the latest releases by The Samuel Jackson Five and Neil On Impression.

Harmonic Motion

Differential Records is now working on another installment of the Harmonic Motion split album series.
This next release will feature two great bands from Great White North: Tunturia and Holoscene. The release will be a split vinyl EP with artwork by Seldon Hunt. Yeah, you know that guy.

Up-C Down-C

Did these guys change their band name?
Belay that last note.
After many long nights of coffee, pen and paper, Fridays at the mosque, Saturdays at the synagogue, and Sundays at the church, we've been unable to reach an agreement with the wonderful team at Tap N Tin Records regarding the distribution and release of Embers on Differential Records.
So, Embers will not be available on the Differential Records store.
However, we're still scheming on a way to get Up-C Down-C downs with us.

We're currently working out a distribution and licensing agreement with Up-C Down-C's label, Tap N Tin Records, in order to release Embers in North America.
Keep your eyes on the Differential Records store for pre-order information.
The Differential Records release of Embers will most likely contain two previously unreleased bonus tracks that are sure to make this album a collectible.
